Chicken and Mushroom Crepes

May 13, 2018 Maria Stuart Leave a Comment

Print Recipe Chicken and Mushroom Crepes I have long been a fan of savory crepe dishes. I was drawn to this recipe in particular because it transported me back to the ‘70’s when our family would often head to “The Magic Pan” for after-church Sunday brunch. I almost always ordered a creamy, savory version, the […]

Slow Cooker Cassoulet

Print Recipe Slow Cooker Cassoulet It’s possible that Cassoulet is Rob’s very favorite dish in the world. Generally it’s a big project to make it, and reserved for very special occasions. This version is simpler, though there are still quite a few steps, and benefits from the help of the slow cooker. Make it ahead […]

Print Recipe Hatch Chili Crustless Quiche This is actually my mom’s recipe, though she didn’t use Hatch chilis. She just used those mild green chilis you find in a can in the Mexican section of the grocery store. If you don’t have Hatch chilis on hand, those will certainly do, as would some roasted Poblano […]

Those grapes are ripe and they need to be picked and turned into wine, […]

Hello!

Hi, I'm Maria. My husband and I own a winery in downtown McMinnville, the heart of Oregon's spectacular Willamette Valley.

Lucky for me I get to cook for the people I love, throw parties and pour a little Pinot. Nothing makes me happier than gathering people around my table and serving them food that nourishes both body and soul.

People often tell me that I'm living their dream life. And truthfully, I'm living mine too.

But let's be real, it's still life.
